The worst 10 states for quality of life in the USA...

No offense to my friends on here from Tennesse, Alabama and Mississippi, but driving through those states really sucked.
Geographically, that area does get a little monotonous, but for comfortable living it's hard to beat grassy delta and pine trees. It's only the people who screw it up.

Here's a FREE, online course I've signed up for.

Nikki Haley: It’s OK to have the Confederate flag at the statehouse because not “a single CEO” has complained

I'm a big fan of Nikki Haley. Voted for her last time and I'll vote for her this year...but that flag has got to go. I'm so tired of hearing about it.

No disrespect intended, but—the people aside—we definitely have different personal definitions of "comfortable living."

What do you mean? Too hot? I was thinking about for the people who settled the area. For those coming out of the Appalachians and especially for farming and building communities it had to seem pretty good.

I am too. Haley has done a lot for the state. I can see both sides of the flag debate, but it does have its positives.

You are both fairly delusional: Nimrata is a transparently self-serving political amateur and an embarrassment to the state.

I'm very curious as to what you might scrounge up to claim as any sort of accomplishment during her tenure.

Helping Georgia build a competing port in Savannah?

She's lucky she eked into office in 2010 on the coattails of the Tea Party, and wouldn't stand a spitting chance at reelection if she weren't a sitting Republican facing off against two incredibly weak Democrats in one of the reddest states on the map.

Mark Sanford was the best thing that ever happened to South Carolina politics, infidelity be damned.

Haley, Gowdy ... really the majority of upstate politicians are so buffoonish it's astonishing.

Probably weren't a fan of DeMint either?

Tennessee a is beautiful state to drive through, particularly in the Fall, as long as you stay east of Nashville. Anything west of Nashville might as well be Arkansas. And Arkansas sucks.

Only thing I will say is I have lived here all my life. I like where I live. Forget these type of studies or lists that have these predictable results.
