There’s Another Fckn Game Today, People

With as uneven as the starting pitching has been this year, it really stinks that we p*ssed away two superb starts.

Definition of a mediocre team. One or multiple aspects is so poor most of the time, that the good performances often don’t line up with the part of the team that’s actually good. In the Braves case, the offense can’t be good ALL of the time.

That, and the Braves have no ****ing luck.

Can't say I expected Smyly-Nola to be the only win of the series.

I guess at some point you are what your record says you are. We seem to be nearing that point.

We’re past it. I’ve been trying to tell y’all.

Still think we get over .500 at some point. Just not by much.

The stretch of starters the braves have faced lately is absurd... urias, kershaw, Bauer, nola, eflin, wheeler, and tonight, alcantara. Need a break from good to elite starters every day

So we're getting shutout (or close to it) with a bunch of tomato cans in the lineup (Heredia, Inciarte, KSmith, meanwhile in Gwinnett yesterday Camargo, Arcia, Pache and Lucroy were a combined 13 for 17 with 4 dingers and 9 RBI.

If we're going to go down, we might as well go down with some new people.

The absurd part about it is we should have beaten kershaw, bauer, nola, eflin, and wheeler, yet found a way to lose in the last inning

Our two best relievers have blown saves in consecutive games. Either our entire bullpen is worth nothing, or our two best relievers just had bad days back to back and we are overreacting to that. Only time will provide the answer.

I’m willing to chalk up Martin’s blown save to a bad day but Smith wasn’t used correctly during the series.

This. We used our best guys and they just had a bad night. Blowing back to back games the way we just did almost never happens.
