Things They Say

“One thing I do want to say about going back, what, 40 years on Judge Moore – one thing we’re going to start going through is Mitch McConnell. Mitch McConnell has got some controversial things that we haven’t brought to light, that we’ve been kind of looking at”

I'd be personally happy about it, but the McConnell and Bannon flanks seem dead-set on burning each other down even if the whole party goes up in smoke with them.

When has Goodell ever had the moral high ground? He should have been fired for helping cover up CTE a long time ago for "conduct detrimental to the league". Having Goodell enforce player safety issues is ridiculous.

"I don't believe in science," he told The Associated Press last week. "I know about aerodynamics and fluid dynamics and how things move through the air, about the certain size of rocket nozzles, and thrust. But that’s not science, that’s just a formula. There’s no difference between science and science fiction.”

“Homosexual conduct should be illegal”

Roy Moore.

You see folks, if that comment right there hasn't meaningfully affected gauges of popular support for Moore, then no allegation of sexual assault or molestation will either.

Now, given that this quote hails from 2005, don't you think our 'good media' should ask him ... you know ... if he still harbors the same beliefs? Think about that as you jizz all over yourself tossing out sheeply accolades to the Washington Post.

I dont understand your point about the Washington Post unless its directed at someone else. I hate most media for their collusion against Ron Paul in 2012.

As for Moore, I think his poll numbers would go up if he said that on national TV today. I just wish the media would ask him how he plans to "bring the country back to God". He says it a lot but I want them to ask what he would do if he had the power to do what he envisions. How long of prison sentence does he think the gays should get? Does he want to "torture the gay out of them" while in prison? What other biblical sins would he attach prison sentences to? I bet infidelity isnt one of them.

As I have said before what I would do is trap him into breaking his oath to defend the constitution he would take if he wins. He has made numerous statements claiming he will vote the bible over the constitution. I assume he actually knows what the constitution says and he just chooses to ignore it because he did pass law school and I doubt any law school would pass him if he gave Bobby Bouche answers like "Because Jesus" on his bar exam.

Yeah, sorry, that was not directed at you specifically.

I agree with the rest of your post 110%.

And I do think an Alabama law school would have passed a white idiot like Roy Moore in the 1970s just because of the good ol' boy system. I believe his realization about how to weaponize his Christian 'faith' for political advantage evolved after he became a circuit court judge.

"I would simply say that I am very worried about the sustainability of the U.S. debt trajectory. Our current debt-to-GDP ratio of about 75 percent is not frightening but it's also not low. It's the type of thing that should keep people awake at night." -- Janet Yellen

But if we reduce spending, the GOP would be killing children, old people, and women

"Watts always told me if your not going to pay I am going to get you and every time I ran into him he would put drugs on me."

One of officer Watts many victims.

"Let's see if you can bond out on this"

Officer Ronald Watts before planting 22 grams of Heroin on Leonard Gibson after learning Gibson had complained about Watts planting drugs on him previously.

What does it tell you that there were numerous complaints of Watts planting drugs on people and IAD and investigators believed Watts every single time. Even 2 fellow officers who tried to expose him were blacklisted.
