Things They Say

“I’m not here to hear a word he has to say”

Judge in the Trump civil trial to Donald Trump

Again, leaving out context to achieve a narrative. Trump was monologuing like he was at a political rally. The Judge asked Trumps lawyers to control their client. Trumps lawyers told the Judge he was here to hear what Trump had to say. The Judge responded with what you quoted followed by "He is here to answer questions". Anyone does what Trump is doing and they get a warning or two before the Judge holds them in contempt and has the baliff lock them in a cage for a few days.

A judge shouldn’t ever- under any circumstances- say that to a person on trial.

I imagine there is likely a post about it on your 160 page thread blaming cops for that exact thing

Again, code of conduct for everyone but Trump. If you ever have to take the stand in a trial answer all your questions by insulting and attacking the Judge and see how long you get away with it before the Baliff puts you in handcuffs.

Eastman invented a legal theory in service of a crime. A crime to overthrow the constitution no less. For that he is going to have to pay a price. That's how the rule of law operates.

I will grant y'all this much: the law discriminates against criminals. Bigly.

If Eastman is an innocent man he will eventually prevail when he appeals to the Supreme Court. Where 6 of the 9 justices are conservative Republicans appointed by Republican presidents.

A legal theory that has been used by dems for decades. Do you remember the video I showed Cajun of all the dems using it?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JP4hzhxFE4g&t=23s

The alternate electors and the House members who asked the VP to do this were not indicted. In fact, many of the House members were lawyers and you didn't hear a peep from any of the state bars, did you?

How can it be a a legal theory that Eastman invented when he had a law scholar testify at his trial that it is real and so many dems have used it in the past?

I hope Eastman doesn't have to go to the SCOTUS to get justice. That's time and money. Perhaps Eastman will get lucky and the judge here will just suspend him instead of disbarment but I'm not expecting that.

he can take your argument to the supreme court

So the BL disagrees with the methodology the Dems used only when Eastman used it?

Am I seeing the bias correctly ?

Eastman and company are free to draw these parallels. We'll see if any judge or jury buys it.

The democrats that I showed you got way further than Trump's team did. Btw, that video I showed you was only from 2017. There are more from previous elections the dems lost.
