Marjie Twit Greene, a Republican from Georgia, made the post on X late Thursday night: “Yes they can control the weather. It’s ridiculous for anyone to lie and say it can’t be done.”

She did not elaborate on who “they” are.
 
Former Tarrant County Judge Glenn Whitley — a life-long member of the Republican Party who served from 2007 to 2022 — has been one of Texas’ most prominent Republicans.

And as the November elections approach, he sounded a warning: He is voting for Vice President Kamala Harris over former president Donald Trump, and while he’s announcing his break with the party publicly, he believes many Republicans will vote for Harris in secret.

“There are a lot, I think,” Whitley said. “They’re afraid to come out, because when they do, they get ridiculed and they get bullied and they get belittled. And so a lot of people who have been staunch Republicans and still are staunch Republicans, are afraid to stand up and be confrontational with some of the leaders that we have right now.

“It’s going to be close, but I truly believe that that a lot of Republicans are going to go into that booth and say, ‘I can’t support the insurrection.’ ... I have talked with a number of people who I believe will do that, and they may not openly come out and say, ‘I’m voting for Harris,’ or they may just not vote.”

“There is certainly going to be a big shift, I think, in how our politics work,” she continued. “I don’t know exactly what that will look like.”

Honestly its the Trump tards who need to go form their own party because they are Republicans in name only. I suggest "The Trump kiss my ass club" as the new name since that is the single biggest priority. I even got a good slogan for them "Trump first, Russia second, whoever gives Trump money third, and eventually we will help Americans".

Is it Elon’s documented history of claiming he’s going to fix some aspect of a disaster only to not do it, or the knowledge that companies regularly disguise standard business practices as noble?

I have no idea. I don't really follow Elon that closely.

My assumption on these starlink units was likely they weren't preprogrammed for pro bono usage and have the standard software on them.

Likely meaning that the trial is free and then they get you to sign up like a normal subscription service would.

Meaning they could fix on the back end once people got service, but I have no idea.

Elon went from darling to enemy #1 tot eh leftists because he accurately identifies the evil that is running the west right now and understands Trump/unity ticket is the only way to save the country.
