Things They Say

I think everyone would just be fine with him being held responsible for his actions but by all means it’s easier to just assign something you’ve seen from your side over and over

I’m sure they probably would, but it only took like two seconds to find someone (among others) make this claim.

Yeah, you can find nutty people on our side asking for death for their political foes but it is WAY worse with the left.

I think you might just not look at the right critically enough. I’ve seen calls for violence against pretty much every left-wing boogeyman. I’ve also seen it for doctors who work on trans people, I’ve seen it for migrants, I’ve seen it for drug dealers and thieves. One difference does seem to be it’s usually described as an execution.

I'm proudly in favor of sending doctors who multilateral children thrown in GITMO, along with Fauci and Mayorkas and a host of others

"Everybody wants to be my friend!!!"

He still doesnt understand people suck up to him to get what they want and will again be shocked when he finds out they werent really his friend. Forget dementia, he is just stupid.

Not gonna lie, I read the initial tweet and actually agreed with the sentiment, but then this response made me laugh out loud.

Speaking of, how did Republicans manage to seemingly win the “billionaires in Politics” discussion? How are the Democrats so bad at this that the movement currently led by Donald Trump and Elon Musk is convincing so many people that Dems are the ones who are doing the bidding of the rich?

George Soros has been doing it for years.

Sure, but a bunch of other billionaires spend their fortune influencing conservative politics. Hell, the richest man in the world has spent almost every waking moment of the past 48 hours threatening to personally fund candidates to both primary people who vote against the new bill and in solidly blue districts. Money runs politics and billionaires have more of it. Sorry that some of the billionaires happen to support policies and candidates that the rest of them don’t.

It's refreshing to me that he's doing it out in the open rather than behind closed doors

They were doing all sorts of press conferences and press releases during COVID too. Were those all openly transparent dealings or do you think maybe, just *maybe* Elon also talks to Trump and other officials privately as well?

Also, to my earlier point on billionaires: https://americansfortaxfairness.org/billionaire-clans-spend-nearly-2-billion-2024-elections/

Of the total $1.9 billion spent by America’s richest families on all federal campaigns, $1.36 billion (72%) went to support Republicans while Democrats were buoyed by about $413 million (22%). (The remaining 6% backed Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s presidential bid and other causes).
