Feel like you may need to fill in more for those arrows but hey what do I know? I have just been saying that Obama has been calling the shots the whole time and that the FISA warant was obtainted using the dossier as a primary source.

The WSJ report is abject horse hockey and I would be extremely hesitant to hang anything on it.
The CNN report quotes an unnamed source from the Obama administration in its attempted refutation.
And Eric Holder says so, too.

And further - There is no context to the messages so it could mean Obama wanted all the information about Russia, HRC or both.

White County, Tennessee Sheriff Oddie Shoupe caught on body cam giving the order to kill a suspect in a 40 year old truck on a low speed chase with police over a suspended license then these quotes afterwards.

On Roy Moore - He totally denies it. He says it didn't happen. You have to listen to him, also.
On Bill O'Reilly - I don’t think Bill did anything wrong. I think he’s a person I know well. He is a good person.
On Roger Ailes - I can tell you that some of the women that are complaining, I know how much he’s helped them. And now all of a sudden
they’re saying these horrible things about him . It’s very sad. Because he’s a very good person.
On Rob Porter - He did a very good job when he was in the White House. But it was very sad when we heard about it, and certainly he’s also very sad now.
On Corey Lewandowski - How do you know those bruises weren’t there before? Wouldn’t you think she would have yelled out a scream if she had bruises on her arm?”
