Things They Say

I am just waiting for the inevitable case where one of these federal workers is arrested for selling drugs or prostitution to make ends meet. Would make for a fascinating legal case/precedent.

Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross says he doesn't understand why furloughed federal employees would need the assistance of food banks.

"I know they are, and I don't really quite understand why."

He says the workers should be able to get loans.

Imagine being so out of touch with reality that you think normal people should just take out a loan to eat.

If smoking marijuana causes short-term memory loss, what does smoking marijuana do?

"The American people have elected the most pro-cannabis congress in American history and significant legislation are being introduced."

Senator Ron Wyden

Technically not true as Congress was just fine with Cannabis until the reefer madness propoganda campaign in the 1930's but I think you get the point of what the senator is saying.

“The idea of fairness has been promoted in our schools for a long time and we’re starting to see kids that grew up on this notion that fairness above all…and now they’re becoming voting age, and they’re bringing this ideology with them.”

And one year ago this week:

“Speaker of the House Paul Ryan is being called out of touch
and is facing some backlash after bragging about the Republican tax plan.
He tweeted about a Pennsylvania high school secretary saying she was
pleasantly surprised when her pay went up $1.50 a week.
I guess Trump promised real change.
And the Republicans delivered in the form of five quarters, two dimes, and a nickel.”

Republicans have really lost any right to complain the future. I predict Republicans are going to whine about Trump being brought up over and over again in the future. You know, like how they forgot Obama existed once he left office....... That **** inst going to work anymore in the internet age.

"Repubs must not allow Obama to subvert the Constitution of the US for his own benefit because he is unable to negotiate with Congress."

Yes the people who are mad at Obama when he unilaterally installed DACA but not mad at Trump are hypocrites.

The people who are mad at Trump about boarder security but weren't mad at Obama for DACA are hypocrites

"Do you still believe the President could be a Russian asset?" asked CNN's Anderson Cooper during an interview with McCabe on "Anderson Cooper 360."

"I think it's possible. I think that's why we started our investigation, and I'm really anxious to see where (special counsel Robert) Mueller concludes that," McCabe said.
