Texas Sen. Bryan Hughes' new bill, S. Bill 9, will disallow driving of elderly, disabled, or poor people to the polls. It would ban efforts with vans full of elderly from nursing homes, disabled people, poor people who don’t have cars, would be illegal in Texas

why are republicans so hellbent on making it harder for people to vote? why is citizen voting not strongly encouraged and something to strive for in a democracy?

“Disallow?”

Can you site in the bill where you read that?

just more conservatives being openly racist and touting white supremacy. or is this not racist enough for y'all? they're just joking maybe.
it's kind of amazing so many on the right deny their very obvious racism problem. even if you claim it's just the "fringe" (it's not, and that argument is ironic, anyway), it's pretty clearly growing, is cited by every white terrorist, and simply isn't being dealt with by the people responsible (mostly because they don't care to take responsibility; they'd rather keep stoking it).

and shockingly, ALL of these people are rabid supporters of, you guessed it, donald trump. i wonder what they see in him?

“I just think that we all very aware of what type of person currently occupies the White House and the terrorism that has faced the nation because -- partly because he's there,” Mayor Nikuyah Walker said on CNN Friday.

Damn I wish someone would tell Trump on camera that Arabic numerals are being taught in schools across the nation so we could see his response.

Make no mistake - a state that criminalizes abortion but ranks 50th in public education doesn’t give a **** about children.

"It’s obvious to anyone who looks at the facts, reads the Mueller report, the obstruction part particularly, we are in the midst of a continued cover-up by the president, aided and abetted by the attorney general of the United States."
—Carl Bernstein

"Dont let Obama play the Iran card to start a war to get re-elected"

The Don.

Well it's probably going to take the Iran thing or the North Korea thing to make sure he gets re-elected. Yes, he might anyway but that's no certainty, the US at war with someone, especially if it's sold the right way would be almost a lock. And since NK has way too many friends too close to the Korean peninsula Iran would seem to be the more likely choice.

Nice, freedom boy calling being part of a society = slavery cause people born on 3rd base and thinking they hit a triple might pay taxes

Love it

And that is in no way is slavery

But I’m sure your dumb still stuck in poli sci 101 brain white boy ass thinks that

I try to think back to the same way i use to think and brought Ron Paul to this board and am happy I don’t think that way anymore cause of life experiences and upsets me that maybe I somehow introduced you and molded you to keep thinking that way

Nobody said it was slavery.

He said you dont have a right to other people's stuff/money/labor

What about executives who feel entitled to take bonuses when their companies are in bankruptcy? Or CEOs who feel entitled to pay themselves 300X their average worker’s pay?

I’d guess Sowell thinks that America post-slavery but pre labor movement/civil rights/equal rights was not rife with people who felt entitled to what other people produced.
