This team is HORRIBLE!

1 World Series in all this time. So sad.

Maybe for you.

I appreciate our streak of regular season dominance much more now that it's been almost 10 years since it happened.

It would've been nice to win another or 2 more, but looking back at how we were year in year out one of the best teams in baseball is unheard of.

Being a Braves' fan means having to had endure collapses and been victim of terrible umpiring. The summers of going on a hot streak like 2004 that started on an error in Baltimore, or the 2005 Baby Braves, or the 2003 Offensive Explosion, or the 2002 historic bullpen, or 1999 without Galarraga and seeing Chipper carry the team on his back, or 2010 with Bobby's final year and 2012 with Chipper's final year, it has been a wild and fun ride.

I think you should appreciate being a fan of a team that prides itself on doing things the right way, mixing tradition and modern, while maintaining professionalism and respecting the game. I still to this day after all these years have no idea how you can be so critical and fair-weather at times of this team. We're a first class organization. We aren't pretend classy like the Yankees, we aren't wannabe tough guys like the Nats, we aren't perennial losers like the Mets, etc.

Are you telling me you'd take the Marlins awful teams with 2 world series wins since their inception, over our 1 WS win with all of our great regular season teams?

How many world series wins would they have if Bud didn't change the rules allowing now division winning teams into the playoffs? We would probably have more world series wins if our dominance happened before the wild card era. Personally I treat the yankees like steroid users, I don't recognize any accomplishments by them so as far as I am concerned we have more than 1 world series win.

I care very little about regular season success. The Braves have been pretty terrible in the playoffs throughout the years. There is no way around it. At least when the Marlins make it in they can actually have success.

I see the Marlins fans totally agree.

What was their attendance last week when Fernandez pitched?

I'm frustrated with this team. Chipper can't become hitting coach fast enough.

I don't see how anyone wouldn't appreciate the success we've had here the last two decades-plus. I also fail to comprehend how some people brush off the one lone championship. With the talent this team had, it should have won a couple more. Part of the problem is the Yankee teams of the late 90s. But this team has choked away plenty of postseason games, and Eric Gregg ate the rest.

Who cares if they should have more? They don't and that is all that actually matters.

Whatever dude. This is professional baseball. Not many teams or cores win multiple championships. A **** ton of teams have 0 championships since our last. The Phillies with their great core managed one World Series win. The Yankees have a few but have bought almost all of them. The Cardinals are the model organization, and they deserve their wins. The Giants, who've won two, really had no business winning that 2nd one. But it happens. The Red Sox have won 3 since 2004. Money helps a ton. I just don't understand the incessant whining about the franchise. A lot of teams only win one in a long span. We have a lot better than a lot of other organizations.

Would someone really trade winning 1 World Series, for 10 losing seasons? That's literally 10 seasons you have nothing to root for all year. I think people have taken for granted how the Braves essentially (outside of 2006-2009) have given us something to root for all season for the past 25 years.
