Joey Wentz is a beast. I would have loved to see him get a perfect game. I still think he's our most underrated pitching prospect.

One game doesn't change narratives but I said this two years ago. He's a legitimate secondary consistent pitch away from being truly solid.

Who is his MLB comp?
Depends. I've seen anywhere from hard FB Mike Minor (91-93) to a left handed budget Greinke (here it is..hit it). I don't have a great comp but he has a workhorse build and is solid. A 3 maybe? But I've always thought he was better than Allard and as good as some others.

Ynoa finishing for Wentz. I wonder if they are thinking second half ML pen for him?

I've noticed they put Ynoa in the bullpen after his promotion from Florida. I think that's an indication of where they see his future lying. Threw 21/23 pitches for strikes yesterday. Curious to see how he fares going forward.

I'm really interested in what we are seeing from Pache and Waters. They both have .900+ OPS's at the moment, but they are gonna see some pretty heavy regression due to extraordinarily high BABIPs. They also have remarkably similar BB and K rates.

Still, even with the BABIP fuel, what they are doing in AA at age 20 is at least mildly impressive. I'd like to see them cut the strikeout rate to around 20%

He’s already on the 40-man, and would probably have moved to the pen regardless, so I think they’re testing out whether he might be an asset there this year.

Also, I think its time to start seriously considering when we want to see Austin Riley get the call up. His K rate has improved a ton, he's hit tool is allowing him to tap into that 70 grade raw power, and the reports on his defense give hope of at least average production.

I'm not sure what his role would be if Donaldson is healthy, but I think we need to try and find a way to get him some MLB plate appearances later this season.

Maybe we should give him some LF starts at AAA
