Time to get CJ in full season ball. GCL and Dansville have been no problems.

He is 21 and was a 20 rounder. No worries about rushing him.

One of enscheff's great lines is "Posi-Braves assemble!" After his solid start in Florida (small sample size duly noted), my line is "Isranelites unite!"

Alexander has hit the crap out of the ball at both short-season levels, but I don't know where the Braves would put him in Rome. Encarnacion is planted at 3B and I don't see him moving up this season (could be wrong). Alexander could slot in at 1B given Bush may not be a projectible prospect, but do the Braves want to move Alexander there this early in his career? Lugbauer continues to get most of the ABs at DH. Alexander just needs to be somewhere he can get ABs and maybe that's Danville. All this said, it wouldn't surprise me if he moves up to Rome at some point in August and is part of the playoff roster.

Another note about Alexander. His brother Blaze Alexander was the Diamondbacks' 11th round pick and is hitting .372 and playing shortstop in the Arizona Rookie League.
