I don't think you got what she meant there.

She's saying not to call it a surge because of the surge implication that it's an insurgency. And beyond that, surge has strong militaristic tones. Which she's not wrong. When was the last time surge was in the popular lexicon? Hint. Iraq War.

Though I don't agree with her opinion as I think she's simply deflecting because she doesn't want to deal with that topic because it's not politically sexy anymore.

I didn't say I was gonna beat you up online. I said I would beat your ass any day of the week. I know I can do that because unless you're in the top say 10% of strength, you can't outlift me, and unless you're in the top 1% in height you're not gonna be taller than me. So playing the odds, you're probably a little squish boy who thinks because he can bench 200 and are 6 feet tall they're hot ****. No one is hot ****. Everyone is just ****. Get over yourself.
