TLHLIM

Where does it say that. Saying Congress has the power to enforce the provisions doesn't mean the courts are excluded. The court has the sole power interpret and enforce the constitution. There doesn't need to be anything in any amendment specifically saying they do. That would be asinine. There is nothing in any amendment saying the courts can't enforce any particular thing in the constitution because it's literally their role in government to interpret and enforce the constitution. The lawsuits seeking to remove Trump from the ballot are arguing that it is unconstitutional for Trump to be on the ballot, all matters of constitutionality are up to the courts.

You would think you would have learned after the independent legislature theory was shot down by the Supreme Court. It's much the same argument you make now. That because the constitution says state legislatures make the rules for federal elections the courts have no oversight ability to rule on constitutionality.

Isn't SCOTUS just another DC jury susceptible to intimidation by the woke mob?

It could be with the way the FBI left them high and dry during the overturning of national abortion. We'll have to see on that.

Btw, I enjoyed your article yesterday. lol

No one thinks the Conservative justices will actually hear the case. Their decision was made up as soon as the Colorado court decision came down. The only question is what excuse they will use.

You say some people think this way so whats the big deal with writing a character like that into an episode? They got how many episodes of this ****? They have to put some kind of wrinkle in it. I havent watched the episode but I would bet by the end of the episode the rapist is prosecuted. The main characters of the show are arguing against this viewpoint. If it was the cops trying to push this logic on the victim I would be upset. Having a character like this who is presented as being in the wrong is hardly a big deal.
