Don’t you worry, I’m sure the outrage machine will find you one somewhere.
I applaud your new found flippant approach to victims (even if the corporate workers variety) but when they are totally preventable except by one political party, some outrage is pretty valid

I’ll admit I’ve always been pretty flippant regarding people who have been the “victims” of a date on the calendar being used to bring awareness to a cause. I’ll try to do better in the future.

clearly the dates on the calendar aren't working or else we wouldn't need 80 a year

“Why aren’t democrats making a bigger deal about his health?”

What an impossible riddle!
I’ve laughed a lot at similar things, but I think this is more of a consequence of how omnipresent the news is now than anything else. When *everything* is a huge news story, then really nothing is. Social Media has become so infected by politics specifically that I’m finding it harder to actually blame people for feeling like stories are going underreported.

A California woman is set to plead guilty for paying homeless people to register to vote and sign political petitions.

Federal prosecutors charged Brenda Lee Brown Armstrong with allegedly paying people — including homeless individuals — to register to vote while she collected ballot-petition signatures in Los Angeles.

Prosecutors said Armstrong sometimes provided homeless individuals with her former Los Angeles address to list on voter registration forms, which registered them to vote in both California and federal elections.

Armstrong was charged with a felony count of paying another person to register to vote, in which she could face a maximum sentence of five years in federal prison.
