I’ll never not find it funny that the Right alone seem to think they lay claim to the ‘true’ America, and everyone else should leave. The Left engages in its own divisive, self-righteous rhetoric, but I never see the Left genuinely tell the Right that they should go somewhere else “they” belong.

But that’s the thing that amuses me. Joking or even honestly worrying about “the camps” being opened up both for or against your side is a pretty common refrain for both sides. I see practically no Leftist calling for the Right to leave the US. Hell, I’d say it doesn’t happen at all, but I’ve been on the internet too long to believe that any political opinion doesn’t exist. Just seems like a weird quirk, maybe I can start a trend.

Shocker that you don't talk about it's context like it being an article written about Canada, which certainly had different societal standards. And it ignores what some people consider freedom. For example, the right believes in Freedom, to believe whatever they believe. If you want to be gay and get married? **** off. If you want access to safe abortions, **** off. Freedom is what the right says. And that's it. Anything else is tyranny.

Again, you didn't read the article, nor did the headline even talk about that.

If someone wrote an article and that said "Why racial groups are drawn to the word power" and went into the pull of black power movement, white power movment, etc. would that be saying the word "power" is dangerous? Nope. Instead you so gullibly fell for it because you clutch your pearls at any perceptible encroachment on your "freedoms"
