TLHLIM

Welcome to Wrexham is bringing me around, but I'm not sure I can still sit through an entire match.

Soccer is the best sport to watch.

Let me run down why.

1. Time. A whole match takes 2 hours to watch. not 3-4 like NFL or baseball.

2. Impressive endurance and personal strategy. Without unlimited subs the small things players do inside of a game is so impressive. Like the distance some guys cover is downright impressive. Average distance travelled is estimated around 7 miles. Some people do that twice a week too. It's stunning.

3. THere's almost always something happening. Sure bull**** happens (foul embellishment, injury embellishment, etc.) but there's always something. And when you understand the game you can see so much more happening. You see the runs happening that lead to big chances and you see the runs missed.

That and you get insane individual feats such as

World cup is less than 2 weeks away. 11 days or something like that for USA vs. Wales. My body is ready.

I'm a patriotic dude, so it's hard for me to be a soccer fan when I know our best athletes play other sports here. With that said, I am patriotic, so I'll be pulling for us, and might even watch a little... forgive me hank hill

You like to watch people run 7 miles ? That ****s boring. I’ll take a video of my trail run in January that’s 11 if that’s what you like seeing.

If there's ever a time to jump on the USMNT bandwagon it's now. Lots of high quality young players. Pulisic, Reyna, Weah, Aaronson, Sargent, Dest, Robinson, Adams, Musah, McKennie, Ferreira, and more are all young and killing it.

Setting up for a spicy 2026 where we'll be winning the whole damned thing on the 250th anniversary of the declaration of independence.

Not just the running, the strategy. It takes durability and mental strategy to be able to move tha tmuch and still have gas in the tank in the 88th minute to break up a counter or make a run behind the defense.

Places like Charlotte, Atlanta, Nashville and Orlando turning into soccer towns gives me hope for the South. May it rise again.

We’re winning the whole damned thing this year…at least that’s what I told myself when I drunkenly bet it at 130-1 odds.

It's not the worst bet if it pays off. I mean the US is in a decent spot to make a deep run as Group A is a trash group so the US has a strong chance to get to the Quarters, when they get there they'll get either Argentina or France most likely, hopefully Argentina (2nd in group B) the Semis will be rough as they'll be looking at probably BRazil or Germany. But hey anything can happen.
