Top 100 Prospects Lists

Interesting, who said that? That's some pretty high praise - look at some of the pitchers who have gone top-5 of late. We'd be pumped to have a lot of them.

Thats our good friend Keith Law commenting on prospects that just missed the top 10.

Lynchburg will be the team to follow this year. The rotation is likely to include Sims, Cabrera and Hursh. Peraza and Wren should be there too.

I'm a little disappointed Sims didn't rate higher on BA. He's better JMO than some of the guys above him. For example, Glasnow has walked a batter every other inning he's been out there (4.69 BB/9) though he has a sick K rate, it's the same or lower than Sims's K/BB and Sims walks way less. Maybe Glasnow is more projectable because of his size adn K rate, but I'll take Sims and his advanced control all the time. I'm more comfortable with guys showing control at a younger age than I am with hoping someone basically needing to shave a walk off his BB/9 in order to pitch in the majors.

BP's Organizational Top 10 finally came out (Braves were last up):

The Top Ten

1. RHP Lucas Sims
2. C Christian Bethancourt
3. RHP Mauricio Cabrera
4. RHP J.R. Graham
5. SS Jose Peraza
6. 2B Tommy La Stella
7. RHP Wes Parsons
8. 3B Victor Caratini
9. RHP Jason Hursh
10. OF Victor Reyes

Anyone able to see what they said about Cabrera?

Idk, I think there is a lot of talent in our top 10 considering all the young guys we've graduated recently.
