Trade deadline thread

It's funny. The Padres are only 5 back in the WC and haven been playing better lately. They, like the Cubs, also have a massive run differential advantage over most of their competition. Cubs and Padres getting hot before the deadline takes two more sellers off the table. It's going to be slim pickings.

With Fried coming back next week and Wright throwing bullpen sessions we don’t just have to have anybody. It’d be nice but it’s not urgent.
 
Rangers are looking really strong. It'll be nice to see a different team than Houston win the AL this year. Still pulling for a Braves/Baltimore WS though.
 
I know AA runs silent but I'm more and more getting the feeling AA will say getting Fried back is like trading for an ace and that Minter would be the best reliever on the market if he'd been traded for.
 
Let's not forget AA has been loading the roster the last couple weeks with top end talent. Look at Chirinos, Johnson, and Hearn!!! Elite!

Their combined line since being acquired currently sits at 5.2 IP, 8 ER, 10 H. To think those other teams are getting loser pitchers who can do irrelevant stuff like actually get batters out.
