I wonder if the Mets trade Alonso, Lindor or Nimmo this off-season. Scherzer said that Billy Eppler told him they are aiming to be competitive in 2026. That doesn’t align at all with those guys.

It depends. If they plan to keep Alonso, Lindor and Nimmo and build around them but three years later then I don’t really know what the plan is.

If they clean house and rebuild the right way then they’ll be really well setup to compete after our competitive window.
