Chris Johnson/David Hale/c+ prospect for Matt Dominguez?

CJ had a great year last year and had a solid day at the plate this year but he's an empty BA guy, solid player but more of a platoon guy,IMO. I'm sure the 'Stros would want more(Wood instead of Hale) and may not even want to deal Dominguez but it seems like a fair deal to me. I know people say 2b needs to be upgraded but i think Pastor could be the starter and hit decent if given the chance to play everyday.
 
I applaud your efforts. We have enough low on base percentage guys on this team already though.

Yeah that's the only thing I don't like about Dominguez but he's still young, I don't think he'll ever have a .350 OBP but maybe .335-.340 and he does hit for power.

I mean I like what I see from him as a hitter. Not sure on his defense. I just feel like we have enough hitters of the same type of style in the lineup. I personally really like CJ. He isn't as great as last season, but he also isn't this bad of a hitter. He should hit around .290 for the season, but the complete lack of power is concerning.
 
Here's one: Christian Bethancourt and David Hale to Dodgers for Corey Seager. Look him up before replying! Throw in BJ Upton and offer to eat Steve Kemp's contract.

I got a million of 'em.
 
I know about Seager, I just can't see the Dodgers trading him though. I'm not against trading Bethancourt one bit, I'm not a believer that his bat will ever be what it needs to be. I assume you meant Matt Kemp and not Steve.
 
Have to wonder if we could do Matt kemp trade centered around heyward because I don't think there's a chance in hell that he's a brave in 2 years from now
