Trades You'd Make At The Drop Of A Hat...

You act like a team with 200ish mil payroll isn't trying to win the WS this year. You are talking about a team that signed Olivera when they have nowhere to play him. I wouldn't say them trading Seager is in any way likely, but it's not some crazy thing either.

Yes they're trying to win the WS, but they arent going for broke by any means.

Maybe it happens but i have doubts it happens.

Would love to get Seager, just see no way LA is gonna give him up.

Uhh, last 2 playoff series losses vs Stl, their offense went MIA.

I'd take my chances with Greinke or Price, Miller will get expensive eventually.

Turner has 1 more of control after this year, then he's a FA, he's not going to be why they trade Seager. Take off the homer glasses. And yes, it would be pretty shocking to see them trade Seager for Miller.

Could always go something like Gonzalez, Seager, SS, Olivera.

So because of 2 playoff series, their offense is a weakness? Lulz.

Regardless of what you would do, most GM'S take Miller at a fraction of the cost. But hell, the Dodgers could trade for Miller and still resign Greinke or go after Price. Turner still gives them a great option, which is why Seager would be expendable if they decided that they needed to acquire a TOR starter.

It is hardly homer glasses to assume that the Braves could get at least 1 elite prospect in return for Miller alone. Add to it we are including Peraza, and it's way more than a fair deal. Whether the Dodgers would do this particular trade is another story. But it wouldn't be bizarre if the Dodgers decided to move Seager for a TOR starter such as Miller.
