Hamilton is basically the *exact* type of production that Trump and his newly installed team at the Kennedy Center would be actively saying has overtaken the theater. Getting offended that they obliged and won’t perform that production now is not a “left” issue. It’s a woke-right issue.

You're just too stupid to pay attention to what's happening. Trump put his stamp on the kennedy center trying to run it like a dictator and when people don't agree with it being ran like that they're damned sure allowed to not participate.

What? No the **** it is not. His job is at least partially to maintain the overall direction of the production. If he thinks something is bad for the Hamilton brand, that’s absolutely his job to step in and address it.
But again, it’s not that he took his ball and went home. Trump and his team made it very clear what the direction was they wanted the Kennedy Center to move in. You can’t take control of a venue, promise to stop wokeness at that venue and then clutch your pearls when “woke” acts cancel. It’s the exact thing Trump suggested should happen. LMM simply acquiesced.
