Correct. He would rather live in America.

I support an immigration policy that encourages high achieving smart people to come to the US. I also support immigration quotas and being intentional about who we let into the country. I also believe in a zero tolerance policy for those who enter the country illegally.

IMO, There’s an abyss between that mindset and saying dogs > Muslims.

If Randy the congressman wants to make the argument that we need to have a restrictive immigration policy to preserve our American identity, then he can do that.

It’s clear from the responses to his tweet what his intentions were. Not for me man.

Yes, but nobody is forcing us to choose. He found a tweet from some random fucking person in New York City and is pretending the entire religion of Islam is coming for your pet for political clout. And it’s very clear he succeeded in getting that clout from a certain group of people.

Yes - Muslims have no history of enforcing their will on a population once they get to a certain threshold.

No evidence whatsoever of this.

I will attempt a good faith steel man of the debate. There’s one country in the world that forbids dog ownership — Maldives. If you want to argue that we should restrict immigration from the Maldives to protect our culture of dog ownership then I support you.
