Why do people call the President of the US the leader of the free world? We've been leading the world in these types of situations since WW2. I dont see how either of you can say Trump couldnt have done anything when he spent months doing nothing at the most critical point. By the time he took action it was far too late. I dont know exactly how much could have been prevented but I do know that both of you would be outraged at even half the damage done if a Democrat was President.



Republicans were losing their **** about 2 Ebola deaths and Obama not protecting Americans but now want to say its no big deal 300k Americans are dead and we shouldnt place any blame whatsoever on the President of the US? Come on man. Your bias is so obvious. We all know if this all happened exactly the same way under Obama Trump would claim that if he was President not 1 American would have died and he would have prevented it. You all know thats true.

I can't reconcile your concern over the disregard for the Constitution in the other thread with your desire for Trump to take unconstitutional action in this thread. The actions you seem to have wanted are reserved for the states.

Trump's administration did what could be done to assist in getting a vaccine developed. I think he should have stopped international travel faster and more thoroughly, but he was already accused of xenophobia when he did do it, by many of the same people complaining now that he didn't do enough. The media outrage towards DeSantis while they fellate Cuomo and Newsom reinforces that this is primarily a political concern, actual results are secondary at best.
 
What actions have I advocated for Trump to take that are unconstitutional? I support wearing of masks but I have always said I dont support using police to enforce a mask mandate. What I advocated for was Trump should have insisted on having a neutral party on the ground in Wuhan as soon as he was briefed on the issue. Doesnt have to be Americans which understandably China probably wouldnt have allowed. Theres any number of other countries we trust who could have sent people. If refused all travel to China should have been shut down and also travel with any country still allowing people in from China. I dont want a police enforced mask mandate. Trump has enourmous influence with his base and if he encouraged people to wear masks and avoid any unnecessary gatherings before it hit us it would have made a huge difference. I would have been fine with targeted lockdowns for short periods of times if we had an outbreak in a location.


The xenophobia Trump is accused of had nothing to do with taking action against the virus.
 



I love watching these. They are getting exactly what they claim to be asking for but get more and more upset that their attempts to steal the election arent working.

You'll one day learn that Trump supporters outside of a select few dont give a **** about race.

There is a coalition building among democrats, Republicans, whites and minorities that is not going away.

A reminder that Trump got 13 million more votes after 4 years of Trump... massively increasing his support among every demographic.except white women and rich white guys
 
He also inspired 16 million new voters to vote for a terrible candidate like Biden. After 4 years the deficit for Trump went from 3 million to 6 million. He has run for President like times now. Once he dropped out, once he won an electoral college victory with the slimmest of margins in 3 states after cheating by coordinating with wikileaks and still got 3 million less votes, and the last time he lost the electoral college and more than doubled the popular vote loss. So much winning. Republicans are by far the minority party who only have as much power as they do have thanks to shady tactics like gerrymandering and the Senate which disproportionally represents voters. Republicans have won the popular vote once in the last 30 years and are increasingly taking extreme measures to hold on to their power by disenfranchising the majority.


And I know what the deal with most conservative is with black people. They support racism because black people dont vote Republican so they are the enemy in their eyes.
