The problem is only getting worse. There are a couple of simple changes that can be made to help ensure our security. People won't like those changes but when you are honest with yourself you realize its the only thing that can be done.

Not chicken-and-egg at all. So many of the groups were created, radicalized, and/or weaponized by the US and other Western allies, dating back to the Cold War, then further emboldened by Bush Doctrine geopolitics. This West you feel is so under assault is very clearly the chicken, and this trend represents its eggs coming home to roost.

Yet you have repeatedly been willing in the past to post pretty quickly on an incident if it even has a whiff of middle eastern terrorism. When it's not, well it's just tough **** a bunch of people got shot.

What evidence do we have about Vegas to rule out anything? It may very well still be terror related.
