Trump blasts Syria.

Sigh... We've been looking to get really involved for years and now we have it.

I had a theory that the Russian nonsense was an excuse to get us somehow involved in Syria. That didn't stick.

So now we get an oddly timed and really off strike by Assad on his own people - which really makes no sense on why he would do that unless he is suicidal.

And viola... he we go
 
I just hope this isn't the beginning of another war or even worse - WWIII.

I think this is the part that makes me nervous. Assad is a lot smarter than this and this was a bizarre move on his part if he gave the order. Sometime just doesn't seem right about this. Assad isn't in the same category as Ghadaffi or Hussein. He's a lot more screwed. Even then, we're jumping in to this faster than Powell at the UN for wmds in Iraq. Very scary.

We need to get our balance sheet in order. This is a terrible decision. I get that Syria committed unspeakable atrocities but history is filled with these.
