Trump blasts Syria.

You said you don't understand all the drama... I think there should be a lot of drama when a President decides to bomb a country and risks killing innocent people without congressional approval (illegal by the way)

I look forward to this ****faces updated comments

Ron Paul is convinced this was a false flag attack to draw us in and thats good enough for me. I guess Syria is getting that oil pipeline now.

And I still dont undestand why killing civilians with chemical weapons is any worse than killing them by bombing.

If we bombed the base that had the chemical weapons and there were Russians on said base, how does that nof make the Russians complicit in the chemical attack to begin with?

now Russian media reporting we gave Russia an hour heads up we were gonna fire on the base.

Its not adding up.

This all works out pretty neatly. Trump gets to bask in the reflected glory of American military might, gets to look like a real president who Does Things (pleasing a certain subset ) and gets to present the perception of distancing himself from Russia.

Assad temporarily loses the use of an airfield. Russia loses nothing.

You guys are crazy to think this was staged.

Assad has been killing his ownpeople for years and has used chemical weapons before. There's video evidence of a Syrian plane taking off from that airport and it dropping chemical weapons a few days ago

Don't remember you all questioning the truthfulness when obama accused Syria of the same act four years ago.

What video evidence?

Theres no reason for him to target a small village like this when he's on the verge of winning the war. It makes zero sense. I don't buy the whole showing up Trump for his comments last week. Assad is fighting al qaeda, al nusra, Isis, and "moderate" rebels all at the same time. He's not here to show up Trump.

Obama walked back on the red line comments. The neocons have been livid ever since. Thirsty for blood.

Assad doing that would knowingly cause an aggressive attack. Now his fate is probably the same as Saddam's.

You think he's that stupid?

But now we got nearly the entir American populace and half the world supporting our illegal action

I'm so torn. I want to stay out of the middle east because there is no helping those savages. But can we stand idly by while chemical weapons are used? The world is such a ****ty place.

Yes.

You say that Assad doing this would cause an attack. He got away with it four years ago. Didn't he? Why would he not do it again? He probably thought Trump was a push over like obama was. Assad probably thought he was bulletproof since he's backed by Russia and Iran.

When Reagen bombed Libya was that illegal?

Isn't the best course of action a fly by bombing? That was a decisive strike by trump saying I can take you down anytime I want so don't use chemical weapons.

Zito?

Maybe it's just me, but I would rather instantly be blown to smithereens than to slowly choke to death on my own drool (while blind).
