1. what's my complaint? hmmm... for the first time in life, I haven't been to a baseball game. I haven't been to my office in 8 months (I love working with people and my collegues). I have friends who are so scared to interact with people that I haven't seen them since February despite them living 10 min away. My gym was closed for 6 months, now I must workout with a mask which I don't plan to do. I've also gained 15 lbs during this time period. My church was shut down for 6 months. My favorite restaruants shut down - one of them closed for good. My mom lost her job. When I go for a hike or to the store, people don't look at each other anymore. We all think everyone is a sickly super spreader and slowly losing our humanity for one another. People that work for me have to also teach their young children all day... they have become useless workers as I don't blame them at all.
so yeah, I'm wearing my mask... and my life is being dominated.
2. kids not being in schools is anti-science and purely meant to disrupt our lives... or, dominate them. whether it is policy failure or not, the fact that they are not in schools everyone is kinda prrof of covid dominating us, right?
3. local government officials mandated the closure of businesses. businesses aren't meant to sustain 0 revenue for 2 weeks let alone 2 months.
4. See above
5. I like my office. I like my job. I like the people I manage. I like the people I work with. I like the social interaction. I like the productivity it enables. My point is that me not being in the office is another data point about how covid has dominated my life.
I recognize your TDS does not allow you to agree with Trump... but you suggesting that nothing has changed is the most laughable statement on this board... and I can tell you that 57 and goldy have been on these boards a long time.
I hope your mental state begins recovery on the 4th.
