Illegal is contrary to or forbidden by law. The Constitution is a set of legal principles. There is no law that says a state court cant DQ someone for being ineligible to run for office. What is unconstitutional changes drastically based on interpretations that can change depending on the political makeup of the Supreme Court.
 
Care to comment on Trump not being able to post bond in NY? Less than 30 days before they start repoing his ****. And he wont even be able to appeal because he couldnt post bond.

I actually really hope Trump gets his appeal because I dont want the Trump tards here to claim thats why he lost. They will just make up BS excuses anyways if he gets to appeal and loses all the appeals anyways, but I will lose out on several rounds of laughing at them crying about being wrong yet again. Why doesnt Trump simply get loan from a bank to pay the appeal? DB was SO happy about their loan with him so shouldnt some other banks be out there wanting to loan him money? Especially since Trump is guaranteed to win an appeal, according to him. As far as I can tell DB is located in NY and cant loan him the money. Surely the bank known for laundering Russian money isnt the only one willing to loan money to such an honest and successful billionaire like Donald Trump.

Donald Trump appeals the dismissal with prejudice of his RICO lawsuit against everyone he doesnt like that he was already sanctioned a million dollars over because of how frivolous it was. The Trump tards can complain about lawfare all they want but Trumps been doing it most of his life. He used lawsuits and threats of frivolous lawsuits to shut up people he didnt like that couldnt afford to fight legal battles with him. He has tried so sue the media and all of his perceived enemies multiple times. The difference is the cases against him proceed because they have merit and his dont because they lack merit. Remember this next time the Trump tards complain about lawfare. Even if you accept that it is, its just giving Trump a taste of his own medicine.
 
Odd thing is, no one has made an argument that trump is innocent of the charges, established by a Grand Jury of his peers.

Heres a good opinion article about the absurdity of what the Supreme Court just did helping Trump to delay his trial. They had the chance to take up the Presidential immunity issue months ago but insisted it go to the appeals court first when we all knew it was going to be appealed to the Supreme Court no matter who won. The Supreme Court has recently ruled against appeals being used by death penalty cases to delay their cases but when a defendant's legal strategy is to delay until he can hopefully pardon himself they see no reason to act accordingly so there is no miscarriage of justice. There is little chance of Trump winning the appeal so it really serves no purpose other than to delay even with a 6-3 conservative advantage.
