This. This is exactly what you would expect from an attempt to take down Trump and/or his inner circle. You target people who know where the skeletons are buried, get them on something relatively easy to prove, and try to get someone to flip on the big fish.
 
That part has most likely already come. Michael Cohen has given enough probable cause to investigate a number of things. They just need certain financial documents that Trump had managed to block with stall tactics. With his taxes and loan applications it should be pretty clear whether he did what Cohen claims.



Let's not forget he has a ****load of civil cases as well.

The thing working against investigators, however, is that people like Trump usually have a dozen fall guys between them and the law. It makes it very difficult to pin anything on them.
 
That is the signigance of the CFO.
Next step up of the ladder is his kids.

We have already seen Donald's response when caught red handed. Throw his lawyers under the bus.

The reality too is he's running out the clock. Given his obesity and age, how much longer does he have to live? Maybe 10 years? Given his seeming early on set dementia, how long until he's unfit to stand trial? I'm sure these are things he and his legal team are considering as well.

His kids on the other hand.
 
Sturg in here high stepping after his campaign manager was convicted, his personal lawyer convicted, long time aid Roger Stone convicted, General Flynn convicted, Steve Bannon required pardon to not go to prison, Epstein suicided, Rick Gates convicted, George Papawhatever convicted, now Trumps company and CFO indicted.
