Trump Indictment Watch

You are grasping at straws. There certainly is a high level politician who thinks everyone he doesnt like is guilty even AFTER proven innocent. Not gonna hold my breath on you holding that person to the same standards you have for Democrats.

A what about trump post from Cajun. Truly shocking

What's left of the GOP, if you can even call it that anymore, scrambling to defend Trump with one absurd idea after another is entertaining.

There ain't no GOP left. It's the party of Trump. There's a saying, he who you can't criticize rules you. Trump can say whatever dumbest thing he wants about any other Republican but any Rep just fails to sufficiently praise Trump its the biggest deal ever. Let alone criticize. Censorship is alive and well in the Trumpocrat party.

It's gonna be sad for Trump when he realizes people aren't going to protest on his behalf anymore.

In fact, most people, even inside Trump world, are privately cheering this long overdue comeuppance.

Probably pretty interesting since we would be watching someone run for President from a prison cell. I am not going to hold my breath on it though. His legal strategy seems to be to try and delay any trial verdicts until after the 2024 election in hopes he can win or pull off a successful coup this time.

From the Japan Times

Trump has always tested everyone around him. His inner circle has largely been populated by buffoons, but as he has made his way up in the world during his 77 years he has continuously corrupted an ever-expanding circle of people. He’s now able to test a nation.

How average citizens — and flawed but necessary institutions like the courts — respond to Trump, Trumpism and the former president’s enablers in the Republican Party will determine how well the U.S. passes that test. Current and former presidents shouldn’t be entitled to foment political insurrections. And resisting Trump’s calls to violence, and allowing institutions to carry out their duties peacefully, will amount to a passing grade.

What is your life gonna look like when trump is in jail

My life would only change if he were elected and his goons came after me.

Otherwise, I would feel more sympathy for him. He's a malignant narcissist and lives in a reality he created by his highly flawed mental condition. I predict that his defense teams will eventually get to innocent by reason of insanity. That's the obvious defense.

I obviously don't know exactly what's going on in the documents case but from what I gather it's not looking good for Trump. He may not even ever he charged with a crime for the actual documents. We have been hearing about Temps lawyers being forced to testify under the crime fraud exception. That's because they signed an affidavit saying the documents under subpoena were not there after a diligent search. The same documents it took the FBI 5 minutes to find. So what I assume is Jack Smith has called in Trumps lawyers and asked them if they can explain why they shouldn't be charged with perjury. They really have no choice there but to throw someone under the bus. I am also hearing they have evidence Trump ordered the boxes moved after the subpoena. Kind of hard to say you couldn't find documents that you were having moved around. This case and the Georgia one are where it's at. This NY case is almost meaningless since the Judge won't even send him to prison if convicted.
