Trump U

When you aren't offering an actual product with accredited teachers, you keep your expenses WAY down.

I think you're severely underestimating the costs here. This is an excerpt from an article from Politico. The same article estimated Trump pocketed $5 million from Trump U, which after litigation expenses would have put Trump at a loss.

"Trump University, records and depositions indicate, and he later invested even more money. Sexton was paid $250,000 per year to operate the business and had a 4.5 percent ownership stake...

...Expenses including automobile insurance were covered by the larger Trump Organization, and Trump University shared its IT services with the larger organization as well, Matejek said. It rented its space from a Trump building at 40 Wall Street in New York, and Trump Organization handled retirement plans for Trump University staff."

Further the Washington Post estimated revenues for Trump U to be $40 million

"Before it shut down in 2010, Trump University pulled in an estimated $40 million from about 7,000 students"

So, if there is some justice to this story, Trump lost a lot of money after the $25 million settlement.

Looks like the way he ran his campaign - on the cheap and allowing his other businesses to benefit wherever possible.

When you have idiots to buy into it, is it his fault?

50 can tell you the Twin Cities have a few of these types of universities and they advertise that crap here in Eau Claire. When I see one of their parents wanting to take classes or have their kids, I steer them in the right direction because those transcripts are not transferable.

Too good to be true tuition is a warning flag when the local community college albeit just a little more is accepted by all universities in the state, including Madison, where some (important) of my classes were.

America, where people were furious with one person was "the most corrupt person ever"

But support the guy who uses his hotels to put foreign leaders in, have his daughter who is in charge of the business sit in on meetings with foreign heads of state and is in charge of his trust and she then sells and markets the jewelry she wore

Clinton Foundation says hello when directly dealing with foreign leaders and investors.

Thank you very much. :Bowman:

And here's the list. ITT and a couple of others have gone the way of the dinosaur, but these sharks are out there often offering somewhat questionable degrees. I see Capella at all the major education conferences. They have a PhD program in education but I don't know anyone who has a degree from them. From what I gather, Phoenix, Capella, and Argosy pretty much offer independent study programs not that much different from the MOOCs that some major colleges offer. But hey, Larry Fitzgerald, Jr., got his degree from Phoenix!

It isn't just the ones you have listed there that are the problem I assure you. I teach for one of those, and one that is normally on that list that you didn't mention and while they need improvement in certain areas, they aren't totally sucky, at least in the subjects I teach. Also, they have never told me how to grade students, while I teach for one online school who is a "real college" at least by the normal standards used to judge these schools, and I was told by that school's VP and director of online learning (both with Phds) that I could only deduct 10% for outright plagiarism on assignments, because the students went to them and complained because I was giving them zeros for not citing sources, not including a bibliography, etc., though I would allow them to fix/redo their assignments and I would regrade them when they were resubmitted. Those two geniuses decided that was too harsh.

That's my point. That all of a sudden a lot of people are silent for what I view as worse when it is coming from a sitting president or soon to be sitting president

Receiving money for favors is not bad in your eyes?

What kind of schit are they feeding you liberals?

what are you not understanding in my/those posts?

cause it seems you are confused somehow

That's my point. That all of a sudden a lot of people are silent for what IS far worse when it is coming from a sitting president or soon to be sitting president

By not showing his tax returns we don't know for sure where all his interests are and will not know in the future. He won't be showing his taxes next year either.

Since his main business now is 'brand selling', there is no way he will not have conflicts of interests all over the place. His children will collect the money as it comes rolling in and there will be no way to tell what is merely unethical behavior and what is money being paid directly to President Trump for his good graces.

A family profiting off their position this way is standard fare in most parts of the world. Looks like he will join the likes of Ferdinand Marcos and the other kleptocrats of the world.

yep

all while getting elected by saying Hillary was in pay for play models etc and trump is doing this

and the trump fans sit silent on this

He won, she loss.

Get over it my friend.

ah, look at that big thinking of you to regurgitate the same tired lines that others say

i am not disputing the idiot and his gang of awfulness won

i am pointing out the hypocrisy of his followers suddenly don't care about the things he is doing when it is worse than the grave sins they believe Hillary did

but hey, congrats on your "win". it will do wonders for america

i also still don't understand any of your replies to my comments yet cause they don't make sense when put up with my quote. i guess that makes sense in a world where facts don't matter anymore and our country would elect that demagogue

25 Million Bones in admittance of defrauding students.

Just a Thanksgiving reminder to everyone that voted for Trump, Johnson or Stein. And a special

... to everyone that didn't vote.

Surprised no one has commented on the Russian Propaganda effectively used by the Trump campaign- being documented as we speak. And just to be sure it is on media you are allowed to see, reported everywhere except Brietbart or Drudge.

Daily Caller or WED. They are holding fast that HRC is in fact demonic.

I digress

Takes an awfully weak mind in the 21st century not to be aware when you are being scammed, when there are daily reports telling you.

Not sure how that works

Just remember going forward - 25 Million pieces of admittance of guilt for fraud

Seeing as how HRC didn't win, I'd suggest you completely wasted your vote.

He won, she loss.

Get over it my friend.

I personally am over the election results.

What I find hard getting over is how so many ignored warnings that they were voting opposite their interests.

But hey

. " what have you got to lose"

-Donald Trump

Is what he said to a black assembly. You can look it up.

Someone tell me what he intends to do to bring drinkable water to minority populated inner rust belt cities

Has he spoken yet on disenfranchised voters in Wisconsin ? Won the state by roughly 27K after 300K were purged off of voter rolls.

What do you have to lose - and y'all bought that ****
