In closing, Harris got the debate she wanted. If she isn’t able to move the needle in the polls at least a little bit, maybe that means the country just isn’t buying what she’s selling.

Well the prediction that Harris would fall on her face was not accurate.

She is retarded. She is a Marxist. But she does appear to prepare well for these debates. She did well against Pence too

Trunp should have kept calling her a Marxist. But he is one of the least effective debaters I've ever seen
 
And yes the moderators were a joke. Trump and any republican should either decline to do these or accept the handicap

It was so smart of her to bring up crowd sizes once the conversation switched to immigration. All discipline went straight out the window. Completely whiffed on the biggest layup of the debate.

She mopped the floor with him, it comes down to this Trump has to win 6 of 8 in play states. The likely is a 4/4 split. If the election were tomorrow Harris would be the next POTUS. GOP made their bed and crapped in it. Now let's see if they get it cleaned up by 2028.

I didn’t watch the debate because I’m focusing a bit on my mental and emotional health right now and have been avoiding politics. So I’m not going to have many thoughts on this, but this is an objectively funny thing to read after being told Harris would look like a buffoon for the past month:

I agree that she performed well. But the moderators easily had bias for her, rarely interrupting her while she was speaking while interrupting Trump virtually all night long. I don't have an issue with pushing candidates to answer questions and fact checking them, but it was a 1 way street here. And they seemingly avoided questions about Harris' policy, or at least failed to push her for an appropriate answer like they did to Trump multiple times.

But if you're a Kamala fan, you have to be pleased with the performance. Especially after the Biden **** show and her overall mediocre performances when put on the spot in the past. I said before the debate that I don't think it will have much affect overall. I guess we'll see over the next 2 weeks if that holds true. I expect Kamala to poll a little better, but unless she can move around 3% or more nationally, I still think she has an uphill climb.

Unless the debate has shifted her polling numbers by 2-3% in each swing state, she would not win today. In the swing states, Trump basically only needs to pull PA, GA, and NC to win the election. Maine and Nebraska have split districts that could potentially change that, but those districts tend be pretty partisan. Currently, Harris is losing in PA, AZ, NC, and GA. And the leads she holds in MI, WI, and NV are paper thin, with the last 2 elections suggesting she can't win those states without at least a 4% polling lead in each of those states.

We'll see if the debate changes that. I doubt it does.

Just let each side pick their own moderator then alternate who they ask questions to. So each side can get the fablvorableb questions they want and the hard questions for their opponent.
