Trump vs Harris debate

Donald Trump called for ABC News to be shut down during a rant about the way he was treated by the network during his presidential debate against Kamala Harris.

“I think ABC took a big hit last night,” he continued. “To be honest, they’re a news organization—they have to be licensed to do it. They ought to take away their license for the way they did that.”

The Harris campaign, exuding confidence after Harris baited Trump on a Philadelphia stage Tuesday night, immediately said she would agree to a second debate with the ex-president. But Trump is not committing, and his overnight comments suggest he is not serious about a sequel.

“When you win the debate, I don’t, I don’t know that I want to do another debate,” Trump said in a phone interview Wednesday morning on Fox News.

Speaking with the hosts of “Fox & Friends,” Trump insulted Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum, the two anchors that Fox has pitched as potential debate moderators in October.

“I wouldn’t want to have Bret and Martha,” he said, before proposing Sean Hannity, Jesse Watters or Laura Ingraham instead.

I've been following politics since the early 1960s and fact checking only became a thing with the advent of MAGA

so please spare readers the outrage concerning fact checking

Yes and no. I think the interviewer, Just the News, thought the interview was serious but it seems like the person who was interviewed was being facetious.

Just the News got punked.

I can see how it might appear that way to you.

OTOH, the way he lies so brazenly requires a moderator to also be a BS detector. MAGA man had every opportunity to make his case and he was allowed to say whatever he wanted to say. It was a very fair debate.
