Anyone have a complete grasp of the 60-Day IL rules? I remember there's a "grace period", but forget how long it is - 20 days maybe?

Trying to remember/figure out how long Touki can be considered as "on rehab assignment" without having to be added back to the 40-Man Roster.

Clv - I think you are correct here - someone more knowledgeable than me (which isn’t saying much) - will chime back in-

rico43, the Florida Complex League (formerly the Gulf Coast League) began its season yesterday. Hard to access box scores because they aren't included on the main page for the scoreboard at milb.com.

Notables on the Braves' FCL roster include Backstrom, Morton, Paraguate (rushed upward and played at Rome in Low-A in 2019 due to organizational depth issues at SS). Quintero and Dilone from the 2019 Dominican Summer League team are also on the team. Mezquita (the only guy from the international signing sanctions that stayed with the Braves) and Stevens repeating the level. 2020 undrafted free agents Barranca (son of former major league utility player German Barranca) and Workinger also in yesterday's starting line-up.

Thanks 50. Backstrom was hitless in two at bats but Barranca, Mezquita and Quintero all had RBI'S in yesterday's rain shortened game.

Rainiery Rodriguez got the win going 4 innings with 5ks. He allowed 5 hits and 1 earned run. I don't remember much about him other than he's 6'2.

Deester, I hunted down the box score yesterday, but somehow milb doesn't do a very good job of getting the short season leagues up on the main site. That's been going on for years.

Can you pass me a link? Made it to the MILB site, but link to stats goes to AAA and no link to boxscore.

Following Gwinnett on Gameday and all four Durham hitters swung at the first pitch against Kingham. Don't see many 4-pitch innings.

Pitchers get 30 days, non-pitchers get 20 days.

Think it's pretty safe to be extremely worried about Pache if you weren't already.

Pretty sure the baseball gods punished the braves this season (and maybe forever more) for GIVING this kid andruw's number to patrol cf. The baseball gods were insulted at our lack of respect for an all time great.

As the soon to be ex-president of the Pache club, I approve that message. Nah. I refuse to concede...lol.

I hear you. I would have to force the Braves into DFA-ing either Jay Flaa or Ty Tice.

Not that that's a bad thing - was just updating my roster spreadsheet yesterday and realized we had 41 guys on the 40-Man Roster if you included Touki.
