When do the Braves have to either promote Ender back to Atl or IL him again, releases him, or DFA him.

Is there a 20 day window for action?? If so, what would be the 20 day date??

20 days after his rehab started on 7/1, so the 21st?

According to FG he still has 2 options, so I think that means the Braves can just option him if they want as well.

Waters is 20 and performing at a high level in AA. I think he'll spend the rest of the year in Mississippi and maybe the beginning of next year. There's no need to rush him. He needs to work on pitch recognition and get the strikeouts down, but the kid can hit.

Speaking of the devil, Riley had a BABIP last year of about .390 (AA and AAA) and this year its around 300 (AAA and majors). Waters BABIP numbers this year need to be considered in that context.

According to FG he still has 2 options, so I think that means the Braves can just option him if they want as well.

I believe given his five years of service time that he can refuse such an optioning.
