I expect to see more Ks from Wright considering he is letting it fly in 2 inning bursts. It may be nitpicking a SSS, but a 21 year old Top 20 guy should be striking out 10 per 9 in A+ in short appearances.

This kind of disqualifies the rest of your complaint, does it not?

Combo shutout for Hellinger and D. Mejia as Danville tops Princeton 4-0. Austin Bush with his 2nd HR. El Jefe Ramos goes 2/4 with an RBI. L. Mejia 2/3. Maitan 1/4 2 Ks. Waters 1/5 3 Ks.

In anyone's wildest dreams did they see Acuna putting up these kind of numbers?

This is getting crazy.

He goes 2-4 with 2 SB and it doesn't even get a mention lol

Phillips, thank you for your good year, but it's Rio time imo

It's disappointing to me that Dustin Peterson isn't playing better. I'd have liked seeing him in September, but he doesn't deserve it

Riley at AA is now walking at his highest rate since rookie ball 7.4% and is striking out at a lower rate than last year in Rome 24.8%.

I guess the question is while this is a small sample - Has Riley changed the long term plan at 3B?

Is a one year bridge now the best solution to see how he develops in AA/AAA next year?

Riley has always had the power, it's been his strikeouts. He seems to barrel the ball up more now and it's showing. I've been a big fan of his since he was drafted. I hope he finishes strong.

I think a two year bridge is appropriate. Next year he starts at AA and then gets promotion to AAA around the same time as this years promotion. Then 2019, he starts at AAA. If he continues to show out, then force the hand of a trade deadline deal and/or promotion, if not, then he has the remainder of the year.

I wonder if Moustakas would take a 2 year $24M deal?

MOustakas will get much better offers.

I think we have a 1 year bridge in BP an potentially a 2+ year bridge in Camargo.

Either way - not sure if shelling out big money to a 3rd baseman makes sense this offseason. Lets just absorb the contract of a big pitcher like Verlander/Hamels.
