Is Franklin a real prospect ?

I'd say yes. He was a bit of a surprise draft pick in that he was injured his junior year at Michigan and didn't play (truncated though it was), but he had solid stats his freshman and sophomore years there. He's been streaky, but his power numbers since June have been stellar.

PS--Mississiippi has to be the weirdest team in the minor leagues. Not a ton of prospects there and the team strikes out at an alarming rate, but they seem to get it done somehow.

Between Ynoa, Davidson and Muller, we've really had some pleasant pitching developments this year. Not sure where any end up long term, but they've all shown some success at the majors which is encouraging.

Pretty sure Ynoa ends up in the home run derby.
