Finished Sons of Anarchy and wasn’t all that impressed with how it ended. The last season seemed very unnecessary.

I think it ended the only way it could though. I agree it was probably dragged out as well.
Was absolutely hooked when I first started watching it and then maybe it was the third season it began to get out of hand. RPGs and landmines was a little much. Overall it was a good series, but went on too long.
 
Just binge watched Peaky Blinders season 4 last night/this morning. Damn why can’t have more than six episodes in a season!?!?

I agree. I liked the show although I was never a diehard. The whole Jax as Hamlet/Jesus was a really cheap throwaway and the whole Gemma bit was way over the top. Like niners, I think they could have condensed things and probably cut out two whole seasons and things would have been darn near perfect.
 
Almost finished with The Punisher - from what I’ve seen so far, I think it’s the best of the Marvel Netflix series released so far.

There is/was a prequel about the Mayans motorcycle club happening. The pilot was shot and then I read it was horrible and the whole show was being recast. That was over a year ago. I hope it airs this fall if it’s still happening.
 
McMafia is very good. It's a BBC 8 part drama series, sort of a cross between The Godfather and Scarface but with the Russian mafia.

Working my way through The Wire right now and really enjoying it so far. Gonna give The Gifted a look after I’ve finished - has anyone watched that? I’m a big X-Men fan but like very few network dramas nowadays.

Loved The Wire, but I can't count the times I wanted to reach through the screen and strangle Jimmy McNulty.

Enjoyed Mindhunters. Mrs. 50 and I are now watching the Norwegian series Occupied on Netflix. Interesting and timely.
