Updated Pipeline Top 30

Still no Quintero…

Interesting they slotted Malloy and Conley ahead of the Tavares/Benetiz

I’d have Tyler Collins in there somewhere

Vodnik is way too high

We drafted a ton of pitchers this year. The more you draft the better chance you have of hitting and I think a few will hit. With the MLB team locked in like it is the farm should produce what we need to stay competitive for a long time.

now that we are locking up every position player on the team to 30 year deals, the drafting strategy is making more sense the last 2 years. positional needs are a backup catcher, LF, SS.. then bench/utility guys.

I would love to see Fried and Soroka locked up for a few more FA years and have that foursome of Wright/Strider/Fried/Soroka working for us.

Soroka i can see more likely than Fried. He's had injuries and might be more willing to take a discount now. Fried probably wants around what Musgrove wants or more on his deal, and i truly have no idea if AA is willing to go to that amount for Max. Or Soroka could play it out now and hit FA in a couple years and really cash out. We need a couple pitchers to develop over the next couple years if we cant sign them. Or maybe we'll just use our remaining funds on signing a big name pitcher to a 1-2 year deals each winter lol.

Musgrove got 5/100 I think. Pretty sure AA would give that to Fried in a heartbeat.
