A correction from the Stone Age of the Vault.

FOLDER AN

571-572 is Manly Johnson, a near-folk legend White Sox minor leaguer, not Fritz Ackley.

Aside from his proper alphabetical slotting, the proof is in Ackley's rather distinctive unibrow. Johnson has heavy brows as well, but there's a gap there.

FOLDER GJ 838-841 are all Pete Magrini (Red Sox), which is the only appearance of Magrini in the Vault to date!
 
Getting the darn spelling right...

GE688 is now correctly Greg Mathews

HS219 is now correctly Eddie Mathews

HV571 is now correctly Nelson Mathews

Have no idea where that second "t" came from, but it certainly makes a search engine more useful when the name you are searching for is spelled correctly!

Apparently, this is the only Vault appearance of both Rowe and Ramirez so far.
 
For the first time in the Vault, it turns out we have an image of Steve Arlin, noted dentist and the greatest pitcher in Ohio State history, with the team he originally signed with, Phillies. He never played for Philly. I cannot post it on the OOTP thread, but I will post it here:

After Web site scare this week, we have copies the entire checklist onto folders than be sent to you on request. It will continue to be updated and corrected here.
 
Small change in FOLDER BZ

581 is Bob Davis, Padres catcher, not the 50s Kansas City Pitcher. THAT Davis is 579-580, 582
 
Two more images have been spotted of Dr. Steve Arlin as a Philles prospect.

FOLDER EM414-415 are Steve Arlin ... were in a larger folder of Lowell Palmer images.
 
We will continue to update these checklists, but after my latest botch of a small group of IDs this week, I have gotten out of the ID business. Quite embarassing.

Tuesday, an amazing day for images with additions being made to three folders: KF, MF and beginning MG. Still trying to pin down a couple.
 
An amazing number of images coming in. Checklists are up to date as of 3/9, and Folders KE and MF are complete.
