I know it wasn't a pre-order only. But it's already listed as Sold out online at Bestbuy and Gamestop. Which means they didn't expect the demand. Hopefully more will be down the pipeline.
 
Apparently it only works in playing alone. Which is great for me. If the gf wants to watch something on TV, I can still play my Smash haha.
 
There are some awesome things for Super Mario 3D World that require the Gamepad. Tilting it in a certain way will change the map or camera. One fun one was blowing air at the mic and it made a gust of wind on the screen. lol

I had about 3-4 wave birds back in the day. (Man... Shigeru Miyamoto is a man ahead of his time).

I need to find them in the house somewhere and after a brief stroll on eBay I'm stunned at how cheap these things are going for.

I was gonna buy it but Best Buy didn't have it.

Matter a fact, their selection of Wii U games were awful. They had like 20 copies of Just Dance 2014, 2 copies of Hyrule Warrior, 2 copies of Windwaker HD, zero copies of Super Mario World 3D. 1 copy of DK Country Freeze.
 
Anyone get any of those Amiibo figures yet that just shipped?

Nintendo should had come out with a knockoff of Minecraft. Where you can merge Nintendo characters into one big game

I got the Link one, debating on returning it since Link sucks in this game. My main two are Wario and Little Mac.
 
Wii U will officially be in Wednesday, got my shipping info from Nintendo. Already have Smash. Girlfriend ordered Wii Fit U from groupon for 50 bucks, I ordered today a bunch of stuff, an extra HDMI cable (I probably should have gotten 2 since one got moved from Blu-Ray to Laptop/Monitor, but I'll cope, don't use the BluRay often), Mario Kart, Tekken, Injustice God's among us, and Darksiders 2 as well as the sleeve and plus adapter to make my old remotes current gen. My Wii was so OG it was before the included Silicone. Now I just need my buddy's Wavebird Adapter, and I'll have for controllers for Smash and kart, 2 Wii Motes, 1 Wavebird, and 1 Pro controller. So we'll be all set. I'm gonna play the **** out of Smash on Wednesday and after I get done ****ing working on Black Friday.
 
Was on a 13 match winning streak with Wario yesterday (included Team Smash and 1-on-1).

He's almost unstoppable in this game if used correctly. lol
 
Unrelated to Wii, in my Fifa 15 season, my second year pro has shattered the UEFA goals in a season record. Not even counting international, I'm at 82 goals in all Competitions. I've locked up Golden Boot in EPL, got Golden Boot for Capital One, could have Golden BOot for FA despite going out in round of 16 (only a 1 goal lead) and should have golden boot in Euro League. Still have 4 matches to play including the Euro finals vs the only person who can catch me there.I have a shot of my guy winning 4 golden boots.

And I said without International cause I have no tracking of that. I know I scored some (scored a hattrick vs Spain) so I'm probably around 90 goals for the year.
 
Just wrapped the league up. My pro went like this

EPL - 56 goals, more than the next 3 players who combined for 55 goals 11 Assists which topped my own teammate Higuain by 1.
FA - 5 goals tied me with Cavani but my 2 assists were more than his total, so I'm pretty sure that means the golden boot would be mine
Capital One - 8 goals is twice the total of 2nd place.
Euro League - 16 goals to top Kiesling for boot, Tied for 7th in assists with 3 as well.

That's just in my second season as a VP and I haven't been playing FIFA that much. As I learn more tricks things will get crazier haha.
 
So with the Wii U gamepad. I know have 3 different devices that can control my TV and cable with. Both the Gamepad and Note 8 are way better than dealing with TWC's remote.
