Video Game Thread: Atari vs. Commodore Debate...

Watch as I give SAV (Wario) a 4+ second head start and then school him on the final leg.

I really think we should do our own private tournament. We can set it to once a week for a time that is good for everyone, and the standings will reset each week.

I always had you pegged for a Toad kind of player. Yoshi. Props.

FWIW, I haven't learned the shortcuts on the maps yet. There are some cuts like in Mount Wario, and Rainbow Road that I'm not familiar with. I just learned about jumping the conveyor built near the finish line at Sunshine Airport.

Also, It never occurred to me to use boost mushrooms on the grassy areas to get ahead. For some reason I never did that until I saw everyone else doing it.

I'm pretty OCD about staying on the main road, which is why I HATE rainbow road because gravity seems to be my biggest enemy and I slide off all the time.

SAV you bastard I sent you a message like 10 minutes ago. I'm waiting in a room at 10:40 I'm gonna switch to Kart and ignore your ass

LMAO!!

Paying 10 bucks to watch a film? It will be available in 6 months for the same price and you can own it in Blu Ray.

I'll pay 6 bucks. And while Dumb and Dumber won't be my best use of the theater medium, there are plenty of films that are 1000 times better in theaters than on BluRay or DVD in your house.

No way you can convince me it wasn't worth 14 bucks to see Dark Knight Rises or Interstellar in IMAX. You have to remember when a film crew makes a movie it's intented formating is to the theater, the sound, the visuals, etc. At home you're losing a healthy chunk of that. I fully admit I don't go to the movies a ton, but I make sure to see the movies that IMO are worth it, because my movie ticket is a small vote for more of the same.
