With the Target discount the mario kart bundle is a solid buy.
There are actually some pretty decent old nintendo games you can get with those club nintendo points. Kid Icarus 3d remake is up there right now. Plus next July you'll get a free game because you'll be elite status with your nintendo club membership since you'll have so many points.
How do the Nintendo Club Points and what are benefits of Elite Status?
I admittedly don't play enough games to warrant buying that many Wii U games. I bought a 3DSXL with Pokemon X for the simple reason of getting back into it. I only got halfway through the game until I sort of forgot about it.

Club nintendo is like most point systems. It's a point for each dollar. If you get a bundle then you'll have enough points essentially for at least one free game from club nintendo.. maybe two. Every month they offer 2 games for the Wii U and 2 games for the 3ds. So you spend your points on those games or nintendo gear. Plus you get a free game next July if you earn enough points to become an "elite member"... no points at all needed to download a free game. which you'll almost certainly earn by then. These are old games like Super Metroid or Link to the Past. So don't expect anything new. With that in mind the old games are typically pretty decent ones. I've played Super Metroid a couple of times since downloading it.
Deluxe Digital promotion is ten points per dollar for any digital game you buy. 500 points = 5$ off the nintendo Eshop. The free game counts toward this so you essentially get 5 bucks off the eshop as well. Use this when nintendo offers a decent special or to buy a cheaper independent game.

I really need to get DKCTF. I was planning on getting it day one, but that didn't work out and I still haven't gotten around to buying it.
I recommend Wind Waker HD out of that Club Nintendo deal, if you like Zelda games. Mario Bros U is good, but 3D World pretty much renders it obsolete.
Thinking about starting up a file on Watch Dogs for the 360. Although, I'm tempted to wait for the Wii U version. I'd get it on PC, but it's still broken and I'm not sure when it will be fixed. Plus, I can play it for free right now because it's a friend's copy. Decisions.

Watchdogs is solid. Really enjoyed the hacking and be stealthy approach. Getting chased by cops gets a little after awhile.
Confession time. As big of a gamer as I am, I have never played and Zelda game.

Well, Wind Waker is a really good game. So, I'd take a shot at it since it's free. I'd wager that you'd really enjoy the series.
It's not the best Zelda though. That title belongs to A Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time. The former is on the Virtual Console for 8 bucks and I absolutely cannot recommend that game enough.

Errrr...See, this why I need to get my computer fixed. I need a new motherboard and can't afford it. I really want to play through Witcher 2 before the third comes out. I have the original and liked it, but I hated how they repeatedly reused assets and that the game took so long to get going.

Kind of sad but if you didn't grow up a Nintendo kid it's not shocking. I grew up with NES, SNES, and my first console I owned was N64. Had the Gamecube and Wii as well. I've played most Zelda games aside from the handheld ones.

How does Witcher 2 compare to Skyrim and Oblivion? Also, I'm thrown off a bit by your preferences. You enjoy a medieval RPG but yet you dislike Zelda. That's unusual. Curious what about Zelda made you feel bored? The hand holding would be my guess. I get that.

Similar to Skyrim, but better. Better story, combat is challenging. One of my favorite RPGs, and very much looking forward to the third one. Its a open world isnt as vast.

The only thing so far is Shigeru Miyamoto and Shinya Takahashi, heads of Nintendo's internal development teams, have said the minecraft is a really good fit for the Wii U. So I think it will be coming eventually. The game sells like crazy. No reason not to bring to the Wii u.
But nothing confirmed yet.
