For anyone who has not watched a lot of it, it has exceeded ALL expectations I've had. The quality of ball has been great, and the matchups have been down to the last outs. Some unreal ABs and defensive plays. Arozarena has been amazing playing OF.

I have watched 4 innings of it. The US/ Mexico for 2 where Mexico blew it open.. then 2 last night where Japan tied it.. Mexico went back up and then Japan with the walk off. pretty cool atmosphere.

Imagine being an Angels fan right now. Seeing the two best players in the game on a worldwide stage and realizing that even with those two players on your team you still can't make the playoffs.

I didn’t realize how underwhelming the US pitching staff was. Adam? Who the hell…?

Meanwhile, Darvish and Ohtani warming up for Japan.

Kershaw tried to go but couldn't get insurance since he's injury prone. It's a shame nobody else wanted to. USA would have the pitching to deep dick the entire field.

Yeah, we made it to the finals with a pitching staff that wouldn’t make most MLB rosters out of spring training. It would’ve been a massacre if we let our best pitchers pitch in this thing.
