The quote from Miller goes well beyond that. His isn't claiming drugs come from south of the border. His claim is
"thousands of Americans die year after year after year because of threats crossing our southern border."
The threat is drugs in addition to criminal aliens.
You admit drigs come from south of the border. You admit drigs are threats.
Transitive property then follows that you think millers claim is factual.

I cited Miller's comments and the theory that the central American caravans were funded by Soros and seeded by ISIS sleeper cells as examples of the kind of thinking that I think is strongly associated with wearing a MAGA hat. Indeed I would argue that to wear a MAGA hat for most people wearing them is a full-throated endorsement of that kind of thinking. Characteristics of that kind of thinking are:
1) demonizing and dehumanizing entire groups
2) lack of factual basis
3) paranoia
4) a tendency for conspiratorial thinking
Saw an interesting graphic while watching MSNBC yesterday. When you stratify the democratic party based on liberal vs conservative and break those buckets ouy by demographics it yields that an overwhelming amount of the liberal democrats (spcialists) are white. When you look at the moderate/conservative bucket ots very diverse.
Therefore, as the party shifts to the radical left they are ik danger of losing their minority monopoly. How do you keep that bloc when your policies dont align? Identity politics and this resolves why the left has decided to divide the country.
