The only player who we may hurt from is Maitan and it looks like Riley is better than him anyway.

It hurts that Maitan could have been used as a trade chip down the line ala Moncada.

The cheating was in getting the guys in the class before, who actually are playing well in Rome.

Braves lost the big class because of their cheating in the previous year. They were allowed to keep the guys they cheated on in that year.

The restrictions on future international signings were the penalty for the cheating. The loss of the players was just applying the existing rules. Braves should have been in the penalty for the Maitan class so they invalidated every contract that exceeded the penalty amounts.
