By "some", do you mean prospect sites like BA, FG, MLBPipeline, and BP? You know, the major ones?
Yeah...some...
Yep. Some.

To most.
You didn’t fix anything. But I appreciate your help. Ian Anderson was drafted 3rd. His “pedigree” is better than Wright’s. Gotcha.FIFY

Sarcasm...derp response from you geniusLOL...
You seriously think a signability pick at 3 has a better pedigree than Wright over slot at 5?
Derrrrppppp!

The only person that thought Anderson was the 3rd best prospect in that draft class is perma banned from MLB.
Which was the entire thought of my post. This said it all. Thanks Matt.Monaiks lost his #1 pedigree after his first disaster season. I think there needs to be a balance between pedigree and results. Touki at a slightly younger age and higher level is posting better results and had a first round pedigree to boot.
Edit. Ultimately they both are good prospects and I am just glad touki is up there in the conversation finally

Sure. And Touki lost that pedigree with some not so impressive results the first few years of his pro career. Wright hasn't done anything close to warrant him losing his yet.
I think a better way to say it is not lost pedigree but not ranking on pedigree. I think touki kept his pedigree. Just never showed he could live up to it until last year when he pitched well less his era. I don’t think wright has lost any of his pedigree either. I just question if he can live up to it more now than I did when drafted. Kyle has struggled. Hopefully like touki he will learn to live up to it.
For me. Touki is just a small ticket higher right now. Neither would I want to be traded.
And again, another great post. To me, it’s a moot point as Wright and Touki have shown they are future rotation guys IF they progress as they have. It’s hard not to be ecstatic about both.No doubt Kyle Wright may have some better perception among prospect hounds because he retains residual draft hype that hasn't completely dissipated despite his having been relatively unimpressive thus far.
This would be your reminder that Touki is 8 months younger than Kyle Wright and has generally been more impressive at the same and higher levels this season.
that Touki struggled more as a raw 18 year old than Kyle Wright did at 22 after three years in the SEC is pretty meaningless unless we're just talking about how people can't get past their biases.
