They aren't good but when they go up there swinging for the fences, the manager is MIA. Suicide squeeze, safety squeeze, try for a sac fly, something. He was sending guys with no chance up there to air condition the stadium.

I just want to know something, and I've asked this many times....but how can anyone competent person who analyzes and works in the baseball industry, seriously believe that Fredi Gonzalez is capable of managing a little league team, let along a major league team. I know, I know, we suck, this roster sucks, and this year and last year aren't completely on him, but Fredi's entire body of work as a manager is absolutely disgusting. How he has lasted this long is beyond comprehensible.
Best theory is Fredi is colluding with the FO to suck and get the #1 pick.

I agree, you can't blame everything on Fredi.. the team is bad.. when your only guy you can turn to, to pinch hit is Jace against a lefty, then there is a problem.. but right now we are running with an extra pitcher because he burns BP arms like they are all aces.. Sometimes you have to roll with what you have and quite playing matchups. Set a lineup and go with a few days.. let guys play on a more consistent basis. Flowers and Mallex need more playing time. Maybe sit Castro for a bit.. let KJ take a few starts in a row.. Fredi is managing like he has a team to manage.. when they are bad.. it doesn't matter.. just let them play..

I hate how underrated Freeman is. It makes no sense to me. Dude started rough, but he can hit.
Yeah, about 100 points of OPS lower than vs RHers. Bringing in the LHer was the right move. It's not exactly Fredi's fault that the LHer he brought in isn't very good anymore.
